TDS is looking to compliment this team with a Marketing Coordinator as described below.

     

    Position based in the TDS Minneapolis, MN office. The Marketing Coordinator’s primary focus will be leading corporate, social media and event marketing for TDS. The Marketing Coordinator will assist in the development and implementation of the company’s strategy via marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, events, branding, digital marketing, and social media. In addition, having experience or background in design is desired.

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan and manage the marketing efforts for the events and conferences that TDS will attend annually
      • Discuss sponsorship opportunities and event budget in partnership with TDS executive team and business development team
      • Determine the marketing materials (physical printed elements, swag, and/or digital marketing) needed for the event/conference
      • Gather requirements for the marketing materials, kickoff creative development, manage timelines, and deliver materials on time to the event coordinator
    • Own and execute TDS social media efforts
      • Create visually appealing content for use on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
      • Traffic approvals with necessary stakeholders prior to posting
      • Utilize Hootsuite social media marketing tool to manage/monitor all TDS social media posts
      • Drive engagement with new potential TDS clients and reinforce TDS as an expert in the gift card industry
    • Coordinate and create TDS email marketing campaigns in partnership with TDS executives and business development team
      • Create visually appealing content for email marketing campaigns
      • Draft TDS corporate emails with input from TDS business development team and executive team
      • Traffic approvals with necessary stakeholders prior to releasing email blast
      • Utilize Constant Contact email marketing tool to create email campaigns, manage contacts, and for reporting/analytics
    • Create and/or update all TDS presentation documents including corporate decks, new business pitches and client presentations with input from the executive team, the retail team and/or the business development team
      • Create visually appealing and easy to read presentation documents
      • Create visual assets for TDS presentations
      • Attend presentation prep meetings, as needed. After the meeting, make any necessary adjustments to the presentation documents
      • Ability to integrate feedback from various internal points of view and transform them into visually appealing presentations
      • Traffic approvals with necessary stakeholders (TDS executives, retail team and/or business development team) for new/revised slides before final release
      • Maintain up-to-date digital database of all TDS presentations, ensuring all resources are current and accurate

     

    Qualifications

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • 1-3 years of experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role
    • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
    • Ability to create innovative and visually appealing content for marketing use
    • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills with all levels of the organization
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Outstanding project management skills; ability to handle multiple projects with dynamic priorities and deadlines
    • Outstanding attention to detail
    • Drive for staying up to date on creative trends, social media trends and continuous innovation
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Outlook, Google Docs and Google Slides
    • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign experience is a plus
    • Graphic design experience is a plus
    • 4-year college degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or Design
