The Manager of the Topps Authentics business sets the vision for the business.  This person is responsible for its profits and losses, the merchandising and marketing of the business (including the webpages on  The Topps Authentics Manager has the ability to think strategically and creatively while also being able to execute flawlessly.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create the monthly and annual product release plan
  • Work with Topps eCommerce team to ensure the website is properly merchandised and that sales transactions are sufficiently recorded and accounted for
  • Coordinate with operations on execution of finished goods and fulfillment
  • Collaborate with Product Development team on building the product portfolio
  • Define the composition for each SKU and lead a cross-functional product development team to achieve product development objectives
  • Work with licensing team on executing agreements for talent
  • Oversee all sales and marketing of the business
  • Work with e-com team to understand the dynamics of direct to consumer sales
  • Create the forecast of sales volume and profitability targets with Finance team
  • Deliver the forecasted revenue and profit within the approved budget
  • Interact with consumers, retailers, and distributors to understand their desires and the drivers of product purchase behavior
  • Prepare presentations for line reviews, customer meetings and corporate reviews





  • Comprehensive knowledge of Major League Baseball
  • Knowledge of the sports memorabilia business a plus


Skills & Abilities

  • Strong leadership abilities and experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – written and oral
  • Strong computer skills – Word, PowerPoint and Excel essential
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Creative and strategic thinking abilities



  • 3+ years brand or product management experience
  • Solid business and product development background
  • Consumer products experience preferred



  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in marketing, business, or related field
