Supply Chain Project Specialist

 

Bazooka Candy Brands (BCB), the confectionery division of The Topps Company, is seeking a Supply Chain Project Specialist for our Scranton, PA offices.  We are seeking a detail oriented business professional to work in our Supply Chain operation, managing projects for various functions. This person will work with the cross functional team and outside vendors to manage and maintain the integrity of our business.  With iconic brands including Ring Pop, Push Pop, Bazooka Bubblegum, & Juicy Drop, BCB is one of the leading manufacturers & innovators of non-chocolate confections in the US.  

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Cost Savings Coordinator: Facilitate and track cost savings initiatives
  • Project Facilitator: Ensure and proactively manage timelines for new item launches
  • Overseer:  Proactively monitor open purchase orders to advise key stakeholders of possible lead time challenges 
  • Analytics: Prepare and review required business reports and presentations
  • Process Enhancement: Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Communications: Interface across all levels within the business and collaborate with Supply Chain Operations and internal and external manufactures
  • Personal Development: You will be responsible for participating in learning opportunities that further develop your expertise in Supply Chain

Qualifications

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Project Management Experience: Proven planning & Organizational Skills
  • Know the tools of the trade. Experience in project management software. Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook. ERP experience is a plus, Oracle preferred
  • Expert Problem Solver: Strong analytical skills and must be able to work with cross-functional partners to problem solve and adapt to changing demands
  • Multi-task Experience: Ability to work with several simultaneous projects
  • Self-starter.  We specialize in “edible entertainment.” You will be a member of a results driven team in a “can do” culture and a key contributor in meeting our customers’ expectations
  • Detail Oriented and Rigorously Organized. Passionate, enthusiastic and positive outlook towards project management
  • Talented communicator. Excellent communication skills. You will regularly communicate cross-functionally at all levels of the organization to drive various projects

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Experience with ERP / MRP systems and Microsoft Suite
  • Previous experience with CPG companies in a project role
